Alberto Graulau
I’m a Puerto Rican violinist with over 26 years of experience, and my greatest passion is transforming emotions into music that moves people. My journey began at age seven in a town called Humacao, playing the Puerto Rican Cuatro in a children’s music group under the guidance of Jorge Camacho and José Luis Rosario.
At age 14, I began studying violin at the Escuela Libre de Música Antonio José Paoli, where I trained under Arnaldo Figueroa, Francisco Figueroa, and Dara Burkholder—mentors who helped shape my technique and musical sensitivity. I later refined my skills at the Music Conservatory of Puerto Rico, expanding into classical piano, guitar, and accordion.
My career has taken me from television stages, to international folkloric festivals in places like Venezuela and Turkey, where I earned awards for my performances. I’ve played at the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York and recorded in the studio for artists like Los Andinos, Daddy Yankee, and Calle 13.
More than anything, I’m driven by the ability to connect through music. Clients often describe my performances as passionate, energetic, and heartfelt—and that’s exactly how I want every note to feel.
